The story of the little Bug starts with the protagonist Holly, who wants to fill her photo album full of local bugs. She is missing only one bug; the firefly. She waits until it gets dark and then goes in search of a Firefly. While on her search, she finds a little bug. His name is Lumis and he has lost his friend, Albus. Holly promises to help him find Albus. They look all around the local wilderness, but they cannot find him. Returning home, Holly speaks with her dad about it over dinner. He then realises that they are looking for the brightest light in the area, which is the lighthouse. They go to the top of the lighthouse and it is there that they find Albus, who was waiting for Lumis and they reunite with a hug. Then they both light up as in a wonderful twist of fate, they are both fireflies! Holly asks to take their photo to complete her album and they both agree happily.

Children are glued to their screens or so the grown-ups say. But Nina, Lily, Maria, and Ayesha have other ideas! In Screen-Free Fun, four friends show just how much joy can be found in everyday adventures , no tablets or phones, or blue light needed. Whether they’re dancing in the living room, cloud-watching in the park, or getting messy with paints, they remind us that some of the best fun doesn’t come with a charger. Packed with playful ideas and gentle encouragement, this book is the perfect companion for families looking to reclaim time, imagination, and togetherness… one screen-free moment at a time.
